Medigold  wild harvested active honey

Australian Active Tea Tree or Jellybush (Leptospermum polygalifolium) is a small tree that produces honey with exceptionally high levels of phytoactivity. Like Manuka its New Zealand relative, it’s activity varies with the areas in which it grows. The strongest and most potent activity is found in north eastern New South Wales, where the Medicinal Honey Company is situated. Our honey is cold extracted and processed differently to other honeys ensuring that its unique phytoactivity and special enzymes are preserved. This unique phytoactivity is only found in a very few honeys such as New Zealand’s Manuka and Australia's Golden Tea Tree Honey. It has been proven to be very stable and reliable in its ability to inhibit the growth of many micro-organisms, due to the effect of the Unique Phytoactivity and the hydrogen peroxide releasing enzymes.
