Medigold  products are based on old traditions, explained and confirmed by recent research on the beneficial properties of phytoactive honey. The native forests of Australia and New Zealand produce varieties of uniquely potent phytoactive honeys. These special honeys are used topically in our cream products to help keep the skin clean and free from bacteria. We look for those special areas where the honey from Leptospermum plants is highly active, the 'magic honey spots' and harvest them. These are the honeys that test highly, in both phytoactivity and bioactivity. The specialised phytoactivity of these unique honeys is what makes Medigold  products work to protect and actively support the skin's own defense mechanisms.
